About me

I have a quote in my classroom that says, “Life isn’t about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself.” Recently, I started painting again after about a year and a half of not being able to because my hands started shaking really badly due to a very challenging time in my life. I had been drawing and painting for as long as I could hold a pencil or brush in my hand. When I got to the point of barely being able to write my own name, it was terrifying. It’s because of the encouragement and patience of some very special people in my life that my hands have finally steadied and I have been able to put a brush to canvas again. In the process, I have rediscovered the work of creating myself, a process that I don’t think is ever supposed to be completed for any of us.

Thank you to those people that have and continue to purchase my work and support it on social media.

There is no greater honor for me than to know that I’ve earned a place in your homes, whether in the form of an ornament on your tree, a mug in your hand, or a painting on your wall.
